A very powerful video showing the impact of filming one of the most terrible scenes in a film ever: the forced removal of Aboriginal children in “Rabbit Proof Fence”. It shows before, during, and after the filming of the scene, and the scene itself. It always has me in tears.

The Stolen Generation was one of the most shameful things Australia has ever been responsible for. The impact of it remains part of every day, every person.

WARNING: Possible trigger for residential school survivors.

This is really tough to watch, the whole film is.. If you haven’t watched this film, I encourage you to do so, it’s very powerful.
